33-17-1114. Policies issued at home or branch offices. Nothing in 33-17-1111 through 33-17-1113 prevents an insurer from issuing a policy, as to which the countersignature requirement of 33-17-1111 applies, at its home or branch office, but the policy must be subsequently countersigned, where otherwise required, by an insurance producer residing in Montana. The insurance producer residing in Montana shall receive the commission on the policy when the insurance premium is paid. This section does not apply to life insurance.
