     53-2-207. Power of department in administering state and federal funds. In administering or supervising any state or federal funds appropriated or made available to the department for public assistance purposes, the department has the authority to:
     (1) require the county to bear the proportion of the total of local public assistance as is fixed by law relating to the assistance;
     (2) make use of all legal processes to enforce the standards prescribed for public assistance purposes by the department; and
     (3) require that each part of the public assistance laws be in effect in all counties of the state.
