53-21-704. Transition. The department shall seek to continue its medicaid mental health managed care waiver as long as possible during the transition period to the new mental health managed care program as provided in 53-21-701. If the state loses its existing medicaid waiver for mental health managed care, then it shall pursue appropriate waivers for the transition to a new mental health managed care system as provided in 53-21-701.
