     7-6-2541. County detention center inmate medical costs. (1) The board of county commissioners shall budget and expend funds for inmate medical care, including but not limited to costs of providing direct medical care, medication, medical services, hospitalization, insurance premiums, self-insured coverage, or contracted services for expenses that must be borne by the county for inmates confined in a county detention center as provided for in 7-32-2222.
     (2) If approved at a tax election by a majority of the qualified electors voting on the question, the board may levy up to 2 mills on the taxable value of all property within its jurisdiction for the purpose of subsection (1).
