A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND INDUSTRY TO INCREASE SILICOSIS BENEFITS BY $25 A MONTH FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL RECEIVING BENEFITS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE."



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:



     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Appropriation. The following money is appropriated from the general fund to the department of labor and industry to fund an increase of $25 a month for each individual who receives silicosis benefits:

     Fiscal year 2002 $21,300

     Fiscal year 2003 21,300



     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Effective date. [This act] is effective July 1, 2001.
