A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING $100,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN HERITAGE CENTER FOR REMODELING BUILDINGS AT FORT MISSOULA; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE."



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:



     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Appropriation. (1) There is appropriated from the general fund $100,000 to the department of commerce for the purpose provided in subsection (2).

     (2)  The department of commerce shall use the money appropriated in subsection (1) to provide a grant to the Rocky Mountain heritage center for the renovation and remodeling of buildings at fort Missoula.



     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Effective date. [This act] is effective July 1, 2001.
