HOUSE BILL NO. 718

A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY TO THE COAL BOARD FOR THE CASTLEROCK ROAD PROJECT IN ROSEBUD COUNTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Appropriation. (1) There is appropriated to the coal board for the biennium beginning July 1, 2003, $2.414 million from the general fund for the repair and reconstruction of the Castlerock road project west of Colstrip in Rosebud County.
(2) The coal board shall allocate the funds to Rosebud County to assist in financing the repair and reconstruction of the Castlerock road project.
NEW SECTION. Section 2. Effective date. [This act] is effective July 1, 2003.
