A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING GENERAL FUND MONEY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES TO FUND COMMUNITY-BASED ADULT RECOVERY HOMES FOR CHEMICALLY DEPENDENT WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Appropriation. There is an appropriation of $450,000 for each of the fiscal years 2004 and 2005 from the general fund to the department of public health and human services for the funding of two community-based adult recovery homes for chemically dependent women and their children, with a primary focus on the treatment of methamphetamine abuse or dependency.

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Effective date. [This act] is effective July 1, 2003.
