BY REQUEST OF THE ECONOMIC AFFAIRS INTERIM COMMITTEE

 

A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR PERSONAL SERVICES AND OPERATING EXPENSES TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR IMPLEMENTING THE MONTANA EQUITY CAPITAL INVESTMENT ACT; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Appropriation. The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund for fiscal years 2008 and 2009 for the implementation of Title 90, chapter 10, the Montana Equity Capital Investment Act:

DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE (6501)

                                                                FY 2008                                      FY 2009

1. Personal expenses                              $79,654                                    $100,514

2. Operating expenses                              52,453                                        30,004

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
