A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT LIMITING THE NUMBER OF BILL DRAFT REQUESTS THAT AN INDIVIDUAL LEGISLATOR MAY REQUEST FOR ANY REGULAR OR SPECIAL SESSION OF THE LEGISLATURE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Limitation on number of bill requests. An individual legislator may not submit more than:

     (1) 25 bill draft requests for any regular session of the legislature; or

     (2) 5 bill draft requests for any special session of the legislature.

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Codification instruction. [Section 1] is intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 5, chapter 4, part 1, and the provisions of Title 5, chapter 4, part 1, apply to [section 1].
