     32-5-403. (Temporary) Annual examinations -- cost. (1) The department shall make an annual examination of the books, accounts, and records of every licensee insofar as they relate to transactions with borrowers under this chapter and may make such additional examinations as the department deems necessary.
     (2) The expenses of the department incurred in the examination of the books and records of the licensees shall be charged at a rate to be established by the department by rule. Such fees shall be established to recover all of the costs of the supervision program of the department. Each licensee shall be billed by the department for the amount so charged to such licensee. If said charge is not paid within 30 days after the mailing of such bill, the license of said licensee may be suspended or revoked. (Effective October 1, 2008)

     (2) The expenses of the department incurred in the examination of the books, accounts, and records of the licensees must be charged at a rate established by the department by rule. The amount charged must be established to recover all of the costs of the department's supervision program. Each licensee must be billed by the department for the amount charged to the licensee pursuant to this section. If the charge is not paid within 30 days after the mailing of the bill, the license of the licensee may be suspended or revoked.
