Autopsy

39-71-714. Autopsy. Upon the filing of a claim for compensation for death caused by an occupational disease, if an autopsy is necessary to determine the cause of death, an autopsy may be requested by an insurer. The autopsy must be made under the supervision of the county coroner or a medical examiner. The expense of the autopsy must be paid by the insurer.
