A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT REPEALING THE LOCAL OPTION MOTOR FUEL EXCISE TAX; REPEALING SECTIONS 7-14-301, 7-14-302, 7-14-303, AND 7-14-304, MCA; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Repealer. The following sections of the Montana Code Annotated are repealed:

7-14-301.        & #160; Local option motor fuel excise tax authorized -- definitions.

7-14-302.        & #160; Use of local motor fuel excise tax revenue.

7-14-303.        & #160; Allocation of revenue and disposition of funds from county-imposed motor fuel excise tax.

7-14-304.        & #160; Collection of delinquent tax -- interest and penalty -- statute of limitations.

 

     COORDINATION SECTION.  Section 2.  Coordination instruction. If House Bill No. 473 is not passed and approved, then [this act] is void.

 

     NEW SECTION.  Section 3.  Effective date. [This act] is effective July 1, 2017.
