A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH WARNING SIGNS FOR RAW MILK OR RAW MILK PRODUCTS SALES."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Signs for raw milk sales. A person selling raw milk or raw milk products shall post at the point of sale a sign of at least 1 x 2 feet that states in large, clear print: "Research has found raw milk and raw milk products from cows, goats, and sheep can transmit life-threatening bacterial infections. Pediatric physicians PHYSICIANS advise ELDERLY AND IMMUNOCOMPROMISED INDIVIDUALS, pregnant women, infants, and children to consume only pasteurized milk, cheese, and other milk products."
NEW SECTION. Section 2. Codification instruction. [Section 1] is intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 81, and the provisions of Title 81 apply to [section 1].
