Application

40-3-104. Application. The provisions of this chapter shall be applicable only in counties in which the district court determines that the social conditions in the county and the number of domestic relations cases in the courts render the procedures herein provided necessary to the full and proper consideration of such cases and the effectuation of the purposes of this chapter. Such determination shall be made annually in the month of January or July by the judge of the district court in counties having only one such judge and by a majority of the judges of the district court in counties having more than one such judge.
