A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT REPEALING THE CONSTITUENT SERVICES STIPEND AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR LEGISLATORS; REPEALING SECTION 5-2-204, MCA; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Repealer. The following section of the Montana Code Annotated is repealed:
5-2-204. Constituent services stipend and reimbursement.
COORDINATION SECTION. Section 2. Coordination instruction. If both House Bill No. 1 and [this act] are passed and approved, then the appropriation to the Legislative Services Division in [section 1(1)] of House Bill No. 1 is reduced by $326,500.
NEW SECTION. Section 3. Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
