Explanation - This amendment would appropriate the federal Help America Vote Act (HAVA) funds awarded to Montana for election security in HB 2.

This amendment would:

- Include the $3.0 million in federal dollars as a biennial appropriation in HB 2

- Restrict the appropriation such that half of the total $3.0 million would go directly to the county elections offices
