Explanation - This amendment would add 1.00 FTE and associated personal services funding to the Commissioner of Political Practices. This position and associated funding would replace the one-time-only funding already included in the bill for personal services related to LR 129 in FY 2021 only. The position will be used to review and process ballot collection forms related to the Montana Ballot Interference Prevention Act, which was passed in Legislative Referendum 129 in November of 2018.

This amendment includes increases of:

- $56,738 general fund for personal services in FY 2020

- $56,608 general fund for personal services in FY 2021

- 1.00 associated FTE

This amendment also removes a one-time-only line item appropriation of general fund for $25,184 in personal services in FY 2021.
