Explanation - This amendment would exempt the general fund portion of the Medicaid Physician provider rate increase by $200,000 in FY 2020 and $400,000 in FY 2021 and redirect the funding for the development of a Health Information Exchange at the Department of Public Health and Human Services.

The general fund impact of the amendment is $0.00. In order to redirect the funds, 53-6-125 must be amended, if not, the funding will remain appropriated for a rate increase for physicians.
