A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT REVISING THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF ETHICS COMPLAINTS; REMOVING CONFIDENTIALITY PROVISIONS RELATED TO ETHICS COMPLAINTS CONCERNING PUBLIC EMPLOYEES OR UNELECTED PUBLIC OFFICERS; REPEALING SECTION 2-2-140, MCA; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

Section 1. Repealer. The following section of the Montana Code Annotated is repealed:

2-2-140.            Complaint -- confidentiality.

 

Section 2.Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
