A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT REPEALING THE REQUIREMENT THAT A POLITICAL COMMITTEE NAME ITSELF ACCORDING TO CERTAIN CRITERIA AND LABEL CERTAIN ADVERTISEMENTS AND PAID PUBLIC STATEMENTS; REPEALING SECTION 13-37-210, MCA; and PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

NEW SECTION. Section 1. Repealer. The following section of the Montana Code Annotated is repealed:

13-37-210.        Naming and labeling of political committees.

 

NEW SECTION. Section 2.Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
