Explanation - This amendment provides a one-time-only appropriation of general fund in the Legislative Fiscal Division of the Legislative Branch to provide actuarial services to the Legislature. The services would include an incorporation of reports produced on the Public Employee Retirement System and the Teachers' Retirement System, including risk analysis reports developed in relation to state income and expense projections. In consultation with the appropriate legislative committees, the actuary would develop a dashboard using metrics to provide a guide for consideration of adjustments to the retirement plans with specifics of the timing of the adjustments.
