Explanation - This amendment reduces general fund appropriation by $800,000 and eliminates 3.00 FTE within the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Water Resources Division. The funding supports the implementation of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes water compact implementation, state based water rights, the National Environmental Policy Act, and the National Environmental Protection Act.
