Explanation - This amendment increases general fund appropriation by $80,000 in each year of the biennium to support the United States Department of Agriculture Cooperative Interstate Shipping Program. The appropriation will support expanded levels of inspection and training in the meat and poultry program. The general fund is matched with federal funds of $120,000 in each year of the biennium. The appropriation is restricted and one-time-only.
