Explanation - Items 1-17 pertain to the passage and approval of SB 110. Because SB 110 has been passed by the Legislature and signed into law by the Governor, this language is no longer necessary. Striking this language will not change appropriations.

Items 18-21 are technical amendments that increase general fund, state special revenue, and federal special revenue in the Department of Commerce to correctly account for an additional 1.0% vacancy savings.

Item 22 would remove HB 2 language for the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction pertaining to the passage and approval of HB 15 and HB 143. Because HB 15 and HB 143 have been passed by the Legislature and signed into law by the Governor, this language is no longer necessary. Striking this language will not change appropriations.

Item 23 would move a general fund operating expenses one-time-only(OTO) appropriation for student travel in the Student Services Program of the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind. The appropriation has already been passed as OTO; this change simply moves the appropriation into a line item in order to correctly reflect the OTO designation in HB 2. This change will not affect the appropriation amount.

Item 24 would move a general fund personal services OTO appropriation for extra-curricular activities in the Education Program of the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind. The appropriation has already been passed as OTO; this change simply moves the appropriation into a line item in order to correctly reflect the OTO designation in HB 2. This change will not affect the appropriation amount.
