Explanation - This amendment reduces appropriation from several state special revenue accounts by $12.7 million. The amendment reduces the state special revenue accounts listed below by item number.

 

1) Reduces appropriation from the Montana Help Act account by $750,000 in each year of the biennium in the Workforce Services Division.


2)Adds language to HB 2 that allows the Office of Budget and Program Planning to amend the appropriation for the listed state special revenues in the 2023 Biennium.


3) Eliminates $1,000,000 in each year of the biennium for grant funding to conservation districts for aquatic invasive species check stations within the Fisheries Division.


4) Eliminates $350,000 in each year of the biennium for weed control and riparian habitat conservation within the Fisheries Division.

 

5) Reduces appropriation from the hunter access account by $1,850,000 in each year of the biennium within the Wildlife Division.


6) Reduces appropriation from the general license account by $1,277,500 in each year of the biennium within the Administration Division.


7) Strikes language associated with item number 5.


8) Adds language to HB 2 that allows the Office of Budget and Program Planning to amend the appropriation for the listed state special revenues in the 2023 Biennium.


9) Reduces appropriation from the major facility siting account by $500,000 in each year of the biennium within the Central Management Program.


10) Reduces appropriation from the petroleum tank cleanup account by $100,000 in each year of the biennium, junk vehicle disposal account by $250,000 in each year of the biennium, and the environmental quality protection account by $1,150,000 in each year of the biennium within the Waste Management and Remediation Division.


11) Reduces appropriation from the hard rock mining account by $1,850,000 in each year of the biennium, and $400,000 in each year of the biennium from the air quality operating fees account within the Air, Energy, and Mining Division.


12) Adds language to HB 2 that allows the Office of Budget and Program Planning to amend the appropriation for the listed state special revenues in the 2023 Biennium.


13) Reduces appropriation from the resource development bureau account by $2,000,000, and $125,000 from the coal bed methane account in each year of the biennium within the Conservation and Resource Development Division.


14) Eliminates language appropriating up to $900,000 in state special revenue for the rehabilitation of the Broadwater-Missouri diversion project, natural disaster restoration, and emergency repairs to infrastructure on state trust lands.


15) Adds language to HB 2 that allows the Office of Budget and Program Planning to amend the appropriation for the listed state special revenues in the 2023 Biennium.


16,17,18) Eliminates $218,192 in appropriation from the miscellaneous fines and fees account within the Director's Office, Secure Custody Facilities program, and the Clinical Services Division.


19) Adds language to HB 2 that allows the Office of Budget and Program Planning to amend the appropriation for the listed state special revenues in the 2023 Biennium.
