Explanation - This amendment increases restricted, biennial, one-time-only general fund appropriations by $75,000 in FY 2022 in the Administration Program of the Commissioner of Higher Education. This appropriation is for a study to be conducted by the University of Montana Bureau of Business and Economic Research for the purpose of determining the effect of Public Service Commission replacement power cost disallowances on customers. The research should examine not only the effect of the disallowance on customer bills, but also any costs that may be passed onto the consumer as a result of changes in bond ratings.
