A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT ADDING MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND AS A FREE FISHING WEEKEND; AMENDING SECTION 87-2-311, MCA; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

Section 1. Section 87-2-311, MCA, is amended to read:

"87-2-311. Free fishing weekend weekends. Each year on Father's Day and Mother's Day weekend weekends, a person may fish for any fish within this state without obtaining a fishing license pursuant to this part as long as the person does so in accordance with any other law or regulation of the department in effect on that weekend."

 

Section 2.Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
