A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT revising exemptions related to the prohibition on discrimination based on vaccination status; EXEMPTING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS whose primary purpose is to provide SUPPORT SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH CANCER; AMENDING SECTION 49-2-313, MCA; and PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

 

Section 1. Section 49-2-313, MCA, is amended to read:

"49-2-313. Exemption Exemptions. (1) A licensed nursing home, long-term care facility, or assisted living facility is exempt from compliance with 49-2-312 during any period of time that compliance with 49-2-312 would result in a violation of regulations or guidance issued by the centers for medicare and medicaid services or the centers for disease control and prevention.

(2)        A nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to provide education and emotional support services to individuals with cancer is exempt from compliance with 49-2-312."

 

NEW SECTION. Section 2.Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
