A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT SPECIFYING THE conversion factor for calculating MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT RATEs FOR PHYSICAL AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS AND SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS; and PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Reimbursement rate for certain therapy services. The department shall establish the reimbursement rate for a covered service provided by a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist using a conversion factor equal to 95% of the conversion factor used for physicians under the formula provided for in 53-6-125.
NEW SECTION. Section 2. Codification instruction. [Section 1] is intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 53, chapter 6, part 1, and the provisions of Title 53, chapter 6, part 1, apply to [section 1].
NEW SECTION. Section 3. Effective date. [This act] is effective July 1, 2023.
