A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT prohibiting the strip search of a youth following a meeting with a professional visitor."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Strip search of youth -- meeting with professional visitor. A youth may not be subjected to a strip search or body cavity search following a meeting with a professional visitor, including but not limited to an attorney, a law enforcement officer, a member of the clergy, a probation officer, a medical provider, and other case-responsible personnel.
NEW SECTION. Section 2. Codification instruction. [Section 1] is intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 41, chapter 5, part 3, and the provisions of Title 41, chapter 5, part 3, apply to [section 1].
