A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN agricultural LIENS MAY NOT GET PRIORITY."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Availability of lien priority. For liens provided in Title 71, chapter 3, parts 7 through 9, a person, company, association, or corporation that is entitled to a lien may not claim priority under 71-3-702, 71-3-804, or 71-3-904, if the person, company, or association evaluates, takes applications for, negotiates, contracts, and provides credit terms that relate to or indirectly involve the subject of the lien.
NEW SECTION. Section 2. Codification instruction. [Section 1] is intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 71, chapter 3, part 1, and the provisions of Title 71, chapter 3, part 1, apply to [section 1].
