A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT Revising labor laws to add the governor, the attorney general, the secretary of state, the state auditor, and the superintendent of public instruction as representatives of the public employer in collective bargaining; and AMENDING SECTION 39-31-301, MCA."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
Section 1. Section 39-31-301, MCA, is amended to read:
"39-31-301. Representative of public employer. The chief executive officer of the state, the governor, the attorney general, the secretary of state, the state auditor, the superintendent of public instruction, the governing body of a political subdivision, the commissioner of higher education, whether elected or appointed, or the designated authorized representative shall represent the public employer in collective bargaining with an exclusive representative."
