A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT REVISING LAWS RELATED TO LIVESTOCK INSPECTIONS; REQUIRING LIVESTOCK OWNERS TO CONTAIN LIVESTOCK FOR ALL INSPECTIONS; and PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Containment required for inspection. (1) Livestock must be contained by the owner in a space appropriate for a required regulatory action under 81-2-102.
(2) The department may provide chute and alley as needed to complete inspection or testing.
NEW SECTION. Section 2. Codification instruction. [Section 1] is intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 81, chapter 2, part 1, and the provisions of Title 81, chapter 2, part 1, apply to [section 1].
NEW SECTION. Section 3. Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
