A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MONTANA ENDORSING 4-H DOG TRAINING AND EDUCATION IN THE STATE OF MONTANA."

 

WHEREAS, many Montana 4-H members train their dogs and work on dog-related educational programs; and

WHEREAS, 4-H members in the 4-H Dog Project teach dogs to be well-behaved and have good canine manners; and

WHEREAS, youth learn how to care for and train dogs while completing the 4-H Dog Project; and

WHEREAS, 4-H teaches members about careers that involve working with dogs; and

WHEREAS, youth gain skills in leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork while working in the 4-H program.

 

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Senate and the House of Representatives OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:

That the 68th Legislature supports and endorses 4-H dog projects that teach youth to train and care for dogs.
