A joint resolution of the Senate and the House of Representatives of the state of montana requesting a feasibility study by the department of commerce to establish trade relations with india.
WHEREAS, India stands as the 5th largest economy in the world, which presents a large economic trade opportunity for Montana companies for export; and
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Senate and the House of Representatives OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
(1) That the State of Montana conduct a study through the Department of Commerce to determine the feasibility of establishing a trade office or other trade opportunities in India and South Asia.
(2) That the Secretary of State send copies of this resolution to the Department of Commerce, the Montana Congressional Delegation, the Governor, and the U. S. Department of State.
