A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT PROHIBITING LIABILITY FOR USE OF an individual'S LEGAL NAME."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. Claims and damages based on use of legal name prohibited. A cause of action or award of damages is prohibited if the cause of action or award of damages is against a respondent who is an individual and is based on a claim that the respondent referred to another individual by that individual's legal name.
NEW SECTION. Section 2. Codification instruction. [Section 1] is intended to be codified as an integral part of Title 27, chapter 1, part 7, and the provisions of Title 27, chapter 1, part 7, apply to [section 1].
