A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT DIRECTING THE MOTOR VEHICLE DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE TO STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF DRIVER'S LICENSE RENEWAL KIOSKS; establishing a reporting requirement; and DIRECTING THE DIVISION TO REPORT TO THE TRANSPORTATION INTERIM COMMITTEE."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
NEW SECTION. Section 1. License renewal kiosk. The motor vehicle division of the department of justice shall study the feasibility of the use of driver's license renewal kiosks in Montana and shall report prior to September 2024 to the transportation interim committee created in 5-5-233 regarding any statutory, fiscal, or other impediments to implementing the use of driver's license renewal kiosks.
