The line item Medicaid Provider Rate Increase for Inpatient Non-Critical Access Hospital Services is increased by $359,581 general fund and $3,236,233 federal special revenue in FY 2024 and increased by $733,546 general fund and $6,601,915 federal special revenue in FY 2025.

 

The Medicaid and Health Services Management Division is increased by $402,265 general fund and $1,129,689 federal special revenue in FY 2024 and increased by $415,068 general fund and $1,142,491 federal special revenue in FY 2025.

Explanation - This amendment removes all funding for Medicaid expansion from HB 2. This amendment results in a $2,176.2 million reduction of all funds, including a reduction of $88.5 million general fund. The amendment includes contingency language to restore the funding if HB 917 is not passed and approved with language to eliminate the Medicaid expansion program.
