BY REQUEST OF THE OFFICE OF BUDGET AND PROGRAM PLANNING
AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY THAT WOULD USUALLY BE APPROPRIATED BY BUDGET AMENDMENT TO VARIOUS STATE AGENCIES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1999; PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN APPROPRIATIONS CONTINUE INTO STATE AND FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2000; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:
Section 1. Time limits. The appropriations contained in [section 3] are intended to provide necessary expenditures for the years for which the appropriations are made. The unspent balance of an appropriation reverts to the fund from which it is appropriated upon conclusion of the final fiscal year for which its expenditures are authorized by [sections 1 through 3].
Section 2. Totals not appropriations. The totals shown in [section 3] are for informational purposes only and are not appropriations.
Section 3. Appropriations. The following money is appropriated, subject to the terms and conditions of [sections 1 through 3]:
