A BILL FOR AN ACT ENTITLED: "AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO HAYS-LODGE POLE SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 50, BLAINE COUNTY, FROM THE STATE GENERAL FUND TO ASSIST IN THE REBUILDING OF THE LODGE POLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL; PROVIDING NOTIFICATION TO THE TRIBAL GOVERNMENT; AND PROVIDING AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE DATE."



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MONTANA:



     NEW SECTION.  Section 1.  Appropriation. There is appropriated $2 million from the general fund to the Hays-Lodge Pole school district No. 50 to assist in the rebuilding of the Lodge Pole elementary school.



     NEW SECTION.  Section 2.  Notification to tribal government. The secretary of state shall send a copy of [this act] to the tribal government located on the Fort Belknap indian reservation.



     NEW SECTION.  Section 3.  Effective date. [This act] is effective on passage and approval.
