The Montana Legislative Services Division announced this week that the 2019 Montana Legislative Review and the 2019 History and Final Status are available online.

“We want the citizens and public servants of Montana to know these resources are available to them, where to find them, and how they can be useful,” said Susan Byorth Fox, director of Legislative Services.

The publications can be downloaded online as PDFs for free at leg.mt.gov/statute/mca-publications/. The hard copies can be ordered with the printable order form on the same website, by emailing LegPubSales@mt.gov, or by calling (406) 444-3064.

The Montana Legislative Review contains a summary of all bills and resolutions passed by the 2019 Legislature and tables including code sections and session laws affected, bills to chapter numbers, effective dates, session law to code, and code sections affected by 2018 ballot issues. The hard copy will be available by the end of July and costs $8, but is included at no charge with the purchase of a full set of the Montana Code Annotated.

The Montana Legislature History and Final Status includes a list of all actions taken on each bill and resolution that came before the 2018 Legislature, in addition to tables of bills to chapter numbers and effective dates. The hard copy costs $20.

The 2019 Montana Code Annotated will be available in hard copy and online by October 1.
