The Financial Modernization & Risk Analysis Study (MARA) committee, comprised of members of the Legislative Finance Committee and the public, heard reports from Legislative Fiscal Division analysts on June 19 regarding school and local government property taxes. They also discussed a general sales tax model using Department of Revenue data.

LFD analysts plan to present an income tax update during fall MARA meeting. The study committee will also hear more about other topics including local government data and e-commerce.
