The Montana Legislative Council is seeking applicants interested in serving on the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws or Uniform Law Commission (ULC).

The Montana ULC members research, draft and promote enactment of uniform state laws in areas of state law where uniformity is desirable and practical. The Legislative Council is responsible for appointing a new member and is accepting applications. In order to apply, one must be a member of the State Bar. Montana ULC members serve 4-years terms and receive reimbursement for expenses incurred attending ULC annual meetings. The Legislative Council will select the new member at their September 6 & 7, meeting.
