ETIC Finalizes Work Plan and Future Tour Meetings

Energy and Teleommunications Interim Committee meetis in September

The second meeting of the 2017-2018 Energy and Telecommunications Interim Committee (ETIC) is September 29.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in Room 152 of the State Capitol.

The ETIC will finalize its interim work plan, discuss programmatic review options, and possible tour locations for future meetings.

During meeting in Helena, the ETIC will hear updates on the ongoing Washington Utilities Commission Colstrip rate case and the Montana Department of Labor and Industry's worker retraining grant. Committee members will also receive a Public Service Commission update on qualifying facility tariffs and contracts.

The committee will also continue work on the SJ 31 Utility Decoupling study and HJ 28 Natural Gas Consumer Choice interim studies and discuss Montana energy investment.
