The State Administration and Veterans’ Affairs has revised its agenda for its Nov. 13 meeting. Sen. Malek, the committee’s presiding officer, has requested that Secretary of State Corey Stapleton address the committee in response to concerns about expenditures by his office related to the errors in the Voter Information Pamphlet, the printing contract for the addendum to correct the errors, and the hiring of an outside attorney in the lawsuit concerning signatures for the Green Party to appear on the ballot. These concerns were the subject of an Oct. 31 Billings Gazette editorial.
The Nov. 13 committee meeting is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. in room 102 of the Capitol in Helena. The revised agenda and other meeting materials are available on the committee’s website.
