     35-21-701. Removal of remains with intent to sell or dissect -- penalty. Every person who removes any part of any human remains from any place where it has been interred in a mausoleum or columbarium or from any place where it is deposited while awaiting interment in a mausoleum or columbarium with intent to sell it or to dissect it without authority of law or from malice or wantonness shall be punished by imprisonment in the state penitentiary for not more than 5 years or by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by both.
