     7-2-2303. Applicability of general laws to new counties and officers. All laws of general nature applicable to the several counties of Montana and to the officers thereof and to their powers and duties shall be applicable to a new county and the officers thereof from and after the creation of the county, except as otherwise provided in this part or the act creating the county.
