     50-71-103. Contractors subject to chapter -- contract provision required. (1) A contractor performing services for the state or any of its political subdivisions is required to comply with the safety rules, codes, and provisions of this chapter as a part of the contract.
     (2) The requirement imposed by subsection (1) must be expressly stated in a contract between a contractor and a governmental entity.
