     53-21-137. (Temporary) Supplemental hearing. (1) If the respondent requests a hearing to prove he has complied with the treatment plan as provided in 53-21-136, the hearing must be scheduled within 5 days. The respondent, his attorney, the friend of respondent, and the designated professional person must be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
     (2) At the hearing, the court must determine whether the respondent has failed to comply with the treatment plan established pursuant to 53-21-135.
     (3) (a) If the court determines that the respondent has failed or refused to comply with the treatment plan, it may order the respondent to comply with the treatment plan for the remainder of the 30-day period.
     (b) If the respondent no longer meets the definition of mentally ill, the court shall discharge the respondent from the order and dismiss the case. (Terminates July 1, 1997--sec. 1, Ch. 541, L. 1989.)
